A strong breeze pushes two Oriental Poppies into frame, their vibrant, tissue-paper, red-orange petals facing to the right. Shallow depth of field and sunlight make the leaves and grasses in the background of the color photograph a variety of indistinct light greens. The bright background really makes the red and orange of the delicate poppies pop. Definitely one of my favorite flowers.
